Winchcombe Unit

Cleeve Hill Nursing Home has a contract to provide six community beds located within a defined area of the home with a variety of intermediate care, rehabilitation, sub-acute care and end of life care. They also have a rehabilitation treatment room and a kitchen assessment unit for use by therapists.

Physiotherapy Services

• A Musculoskeletal Outpatient Service is provided for patients who live in the Winchcombe area, who either refer themselves or are referred by GPs, Consultants and other Health Professionals, one clinic a week.
  
  
• OPS (Orthopaedic Practitioner Service) Fortnightly on a Tuesday morning
  
  
• Adult Domiciliary physiotherapy provides rehabilitation for patients within their own homes, residential homes or nursing homes. This service is for patients who are unable to attend the Outpatient Department or where assessment and treatment within the patients’ home environment is more appropriate. The aim of the service is to promote independence and prevent admission to hospital and long term care. The service provides rehabilitation where appropriate and advice to palliative care patients and their families.
